WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T LIKE MY IMAGES?

As a Brisbane Headshots client, you are guaranteed to receive the best possible service and quality.  We offer a full 100% satisfaction guarantee!
“If at the time of your original viewing of your portrait images you are not entirely happy with your portrait photography we will artwork the images/recreate the shoot to your requirements entirely at Brisbane Headshot's expense.  If you are still less than 100% absolutely delighted we will issue you with a full 100% refund of all photography fees paid to our studio, no hard feelings!" (If notification is not received within 12 hours from supply of shortlist guarantee will be void and all proofs retained by studio.  Hair & make-up services are not refundable.)

DO YOU PROVIDE PHOTOGRAPHY AT MY OFFICE / LOCATION?

Our studio is conveniently located just 3 minutes from the CBD, in a modern, private environment which has been customised for smaller numbers.  For groups of 8 or more we are able to travel to your office/location with a state-of-the-art mobile studio.

DO YOU HAVE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS?

No, however we are able to make alternative arrangements for you.

DO YOU HAVE TAXI RANKS OR PUBLIC TRANSPORT AVAILABLE?

Yes, we are within 20 metres of city bus stops and taxi ranks.

DO YOU HAVE OFF-STREET PARKING AVAILABLE?

Yes, off-street parking is available for your convenience.  We can also supply you with a location map to assist you in finding us, please contact the studio for more details.

WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?

Our studio is located in central New Farm.  As we open by appointment only please contact the studio for full address details.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR GROUPS?

Yes! Great discounts apply for groups of 2 or more people.

HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?

Full payment is appreciated on the day of the shoot via eftpos, cash, cheque or credit card.  Please note that a 1.5% surcharge on Visa and Mastercard, and Amex applies.  Large corporations and repeat clients may pay upon receipt of invoice by request.

HOW LONG DO YOU STORE THE FILES?

Your files will be archived for approximately 6 months from your sitting date.

CAN I ORDER ADDITIONAL IMAGES?

Yes, you may choose to order further files up to 6 months from your sitting date.

HOW DO I COLLECT MY FINAL IMAGES?

You will be emailed instructions for downloading your final files via internet FTP server.  This will save you on a courier fee plus help to minimise our carbon footprint!  It is also possible to receive images on disk, for more information please contact the studio.

HOW DO I SELECT MY IMAGES?

Your shortlist will be emailed to you in a PDF document, from which you  can select your final image/s in the comfort of your home or office.

IS RETOUCHING AVAILABLE?

Light image enhancements are automatically provided with your file.  A range of retouching services are also available as an optional service.  To view our retouching please click here.  For pricing details please contact the studio.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR

We recommend avoiding strong patterns or logos as these tend to distract the eye and date over time.  A shirt with a jacket is best for a corporate look, or without a jacket for a more casual look.  Black suits work well with white, grey or timber settings, grey suits or lighter colours work best with our environmental style.  Women’s tops may be without a collar however sleeves are recommended.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD BRING?

If you have any brochures or printed material that will be displaying your new portrait, or if you have seen images that you like it is a good idea to bring these along.  If you were unhappy with your previous business portrait you might like to bring it with you.  Anything else that will help you relax is also great (eg music, perfume, or a personal masseuse!)

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION TAKE?

A Standard Session will take approx 30-45mins; a Flexi Session will take approx 45mins-1 hour; a Promotional Session will  take approx. 1.5-2 hours.  If professional hair and makeup has been booked  please allow 1 hour per service (ie for hair, makeup and Standard shoot  please allow 2.5 hours).

HOW QUICKLY CAN I RECEIVE THE FINISHED PRODUCT?

If you have booked an Express turn-around your files will be ready within 24hrs.  For Standard, Flexi and Promotional packages we will endeavor to email your shortlist 1-2 days after your shoot.  The final file/s will be supplied 2-3 days after your file/s have been selected.

WHAT BACKGROUNDS / SETTINGS DO YOU HAVE?

We offer a range of backdrops and settings including Grey, Blue, Black, Timber, White, Green-screen or Environmental.  If you have require a different setting or have particular requirements please contact the studio.

HOW MANY 'LOOKS' ARE INCLUDED?

(“Look” = combination of clothing)
The Standard Service includes  1 look, the Flexi Service includes 2 looks, the Promotional Service includes 3 different looks.

WHAT POSES DO YOU COVER?

We cover any poses you require.  Our most popular are portrait style (head and shoulders), ¾ length, full length, gesturing, seated, leaning on desk, hand-to-cheek or chin.  If you require any specific props please contact the studio.

DO YOU PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP SERVICES?

Yes!  Professional hair & makeup is a great way to ensure you look your very best in front of the camera, and as our studio is in the heart of New Farm's cafe district this is also a great way to combine your shoot with lunch or dinner afterwards!  To find out more about hair & makeup please click here.  To book hair & makeup or for information on pricing please contact the studio.

I'M DOING MY OWN HAIR & MAKE-UP, DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS?

•    Your makeup is best kept simple and fresh
•    Use a lipstick or gloss which is quite close to your natural lip colour
•    A mat look is preferable so try to avoid using a mineral based foundation as these can be too reflective.  Be sure to finish with a translucent or pressed powder to avoid shine.
•    You may like to bring touch-up makeup as well (compact powder and lip gloss)
•    If your hair is going to be out, please ensure that it is smooth and neat for the day - consider how  your hair will look from all angles.

DO YOU PROVIDE AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENTS?

With the exception of our Environmental Setting it is possible for after hours appointments between 5-7pm.  Please contact the studio for details.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes, a $100 deposit is required upon booking.  An additional $100 deposit is required for hair & makeup bookings.

WHAT FILE SIZES DO YOU PROVIDE?

Your finished file/s will be approximately 30 Megabytes, supplied at 300dpi ready for printing anything from business cards to billboards.  A copy of your file at Low resolution 72dpi will also be provided.  We generally supply files in Jpeg format however if you prefer Tiff or PDF just let us know.

DO YOU ALSO PROVIDE PRINTS?

Yes, fully archival prints are available.
